December is a wonderful month. The weather is ideal. Clear days. Some cool moments telling us that our northern neighbors are feeling a colder time (if they are not telling us themselves as they arrive for their winter sojourns).
It is a joyous month as well. Faiths holidays are plentiful. While I am a Christmas celebrant, I have become more aware of the festive and spiritually significant times of other religions and cultures. I wish I could know the specific holiday for every person I meet so that I could precisely wish them the very best. That is not so easy. I have decided something different this season.
I offer my hope that happiness abounds, generosity is a priority, and that kindness and forgiveness are so abundant that they spill forward to the next time I am able to make the same wish--Happy December!
